SWIMMING PROGRAM : Fighting Fish Competitive Team

The Fighting Fish is a competitive swim team which provides training by experienced coaches to swimmers from age 5 –18. The aim of the team is to help swimmers extend their natural abilities, to encourage sportsmanship and self-discipline and to attain both personal & team goals. Swimmers train at least 2 times a week and swim between 1000 – 5000 meters a session depending on ability. Friendly meets are held throughout the year with various local clubs and international teams from Thailand, Indonesia, Hong Kong, China and the Philippines.

MISSION STATEMENT
To maintain a competitive swim team for students of all backgrounds and levels. Our program aspires to motivate, educate and train swimmers to achieve their maximum potential through a program designed and conducted by experienced coaches.

PHILOSOPHY
We believe that through training and competitions, swimmers develop an understanding of high self esteem, personal accountability, teamwork, self-discipline and goal setting. We strive towards total parental involvement outside of training by means of assistance during swim meets, special events and traveling with the team on away meets. A Steering Committee oversees the administration and direction of the program in consultation with the head coach.
