Information

SACAC and Savitar Tennis have combined efforts to provide a tennis program for all SACAC members. Experienced and dedicated coaches from Savitar are committed to providing programs that teach by progression, from the simplest of skills to the more complex skills.

The programs are conducted in a fun and positive environmnet that keeps the student learning, achieving, having fun and coming back for more tennis!

Programs

Introductory Program

Kindergarten - 2nd grade
3rd - 5th grade

The Introductory Program is an excellent way to introduce young students to the great game of tennis.  The focus is learning and developing athletic and tennis skills in a fun and friendly environment. Students work on throwing and catching skills, movement, rally skills, team work and co-operation. By using modified and extended tennis and sports equipment, fun and success is assured. (This program will take place indoors due to the age of the players.)

Development Program

3rd - 5th grade
6th - 8th grade

The Development Program focuses on enhancing the all-round athletic development made in the Skill Builder program with the introduction of additional tennis specific games and exercises. With the emphasis remaining on participation and enjoyment, solid tennis foundations are developed and consolidated through serving and rallying, tennis specific drills and fun tennis and various other games.

Intermediate Program

5th - 8th grade

The Intermediate Program consolidates player’s techniques and introduces players to a more formalized training program. Learn the finer arts of tennis through point/match play, technical instruction and fun games.

Advanced Program

5th - 8th grade

The Advanced Program hones and expands player’s skills and techniques through point/match play, technical instruction and fun games.

Private Lessons - Adults & Juniors

Arrange a private lesson with our Director of Tennis and the Savitar coaches. Prices range from $60 to $70 per hour. Call the Taib at 9479-8311 for Bookings and Private Group rates.
