The Uncle Ecky basketball camps are organized and run by Greg Eckstein (Uncle Ecky). Greg is a former US college basketball player and has been running camps for kids since 1985. The camps have a strong emphasis on the fundamentals of basketball and include a lot of team scrimmages and related competitions for kids. The coaching staff will include young men and women from the SAS varsity and junior varsity basketball programs.
In addition, players from the SINGAPORE SLINGERS professional basketball team are on hand for demonstrations and autographs.

FastBreak Basketball Club
The FastBreak Basketball Club was established to meet the growing interest and demand from parents and students within the community who want more opportunities to play basketball in a structured and competitive environment. The mission of the FastBreak Basketball Club is to provide basketball instruction on a year-round basis.
We are committed to be the leading provider of high quality basketball instruction and competition for the youth of Singapore. Our teams are led by qualified, paid coaches. The basketball club and program is organized and managed by Michael Denzel.
Mike played Division 1 college ball at Yale in the mid-80’s followed by 3 years of semi-pro ball in Germany. He spent 12 years working for the NBA, the last 7 as head of Asia, where he led the NBA’s push into China. Mike has been actively involved in the sport of basketball for 30+ years as a player, coach and professional manager.
